All of the accounts we mentioned earlier refer to the individuals falling before the Lord as an act of their own wills, and not as a result of encountering His power and thus not being able to stand in His presence. And so, as we will see in this section, the act of falling down in the presence of God as a result of encountering His power is very different to the act of prostrating oneself before the Lord, of one’s own accord. As with all the phenomena discussed in this section, there are potentially three different types of manifestations that can occur in this area as well, i.e. people falling under the power of God, people pretending to fall under the power of God and people falling from a demonic power.
