Luke 22:29-30 “And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, (30) that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
With regards to what each residence will be like, we have been given almost no information in the bible. But in the above passage, our Lord does give us some insight into this. For in the passage, our Lord speaks about the twelve apostles of the Lamb eating and drinking with Him at His table. Scripture does mention our Lord’s palace in the New Jerusalem (Psalm 45: 8 & 15). And so, we can see from the above passage, that there will be sections in the palace of the Lord, where He will eat and drink with the saints that He invites to share a meal with Him at His table. That would also include sections in the palace gardens. And so, obviously there will also be a section in His palace where those meals will be prepared. It will be angels, that will both prepare and serve the meals at our Lord’s table. And so, from this passage, we can deduce that all the residences of the saints will also have dining rooms, where they too can invite fellow saints to share meals together. And they will also have facilities in their gardens, where they can sit and share meals with each other. And their residences will also have a type of kitchen, where their meals will be prepared. And just as angels will minister to the Lord, so it is that angels will also minister to the Lord’s saints in preparing their meals for them. We know that angels will prepare meals for the saints, because the scripture reveals to us that the angels have been sent forth to minister for those who are the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). We also know that angels minister in this way to the saints, for they did so when our Lord was on the earth (Matthew 4:11) and they ministered to Elijah the prophet in the same manner (1 Kings 19:5-7).
