Isaiah 65:17-19 “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. (18) But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy. (19) I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people; The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, Nor the voice of crying.”
In this current age, there are times of joy, but there are also times of sorrow, weeping and pain. But in the age to come, there will only be joy and gladness. In the above passage of scripture, God confirms to us the truth that in the age to come, that weeping, and crying will no longer be heard, for His people will only experience peace, joy and happiness. For we will all be living in a perfect environment, free from everything that destroys, free from all pain, sickness, lack, worry, strife, envy, bitterness and death.
Revelation 21:4 “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
Again, in the above passage of scripture, God confirms to us what life in the new earth will be like. For He tells us, that there will be no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying, and no more pain. It is impossible in this life to avoid all of these things, for from time to time, they occur in each one of our lives. But in the age to come, it will be impossible to ever encounter one of these things, for God would have done away with all of them. And so, we see that the age to come will truly be a blessed environment to live in, and we who believe, are truly privileged by God, to be allowed to dwell there for all eternity.
