Isaiah 11:6-9 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. (7) The cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. (8) The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den. (9) They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.”
As I have already mentioned, the population of the new earth will continue to grow as we head into the new age to come. That truth is confirmed to us in the above passage of scripture, for the above passage refers to life in the new earth that God will create, and in this passage, the Holy Spirit speaks of little children, nursing children and weaned children. Now, we know that the saints will not have children in the age to come, for Jesus said that we will neither marry nor be given in marriage (Matthew 22:30). So where will these children come from? It is the children of God that are currently in heaven, which God will bless with offspring, in the age to come. And so, we see that whereas the saints of God will no longer marry and be given in marriage, in the age to come the children of God will both marry and be given in marriage. They will have children, raise families and continue to increase from one generation to the next. No longer, will it be considered an unusual blessing for one to see their great, great grandchildren born into the earth, for all shall witness many successive generations being born into the earth.
