Their agenda to destroy Israel

Psalms 83:1-8 “Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! (2) For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. (3) They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. (4) They have said, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more." (5) For they have consulted together with one consent; they form a confederacy against You: (6) The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; (7) Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; (8) Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot.”

Because the confederacy of the Islamic states will be aligned to the Anti-Christ, they will be used by him to invade the nation of Israel. It will be at that time that the Anti-Christ will set up his three-and-a-half-year reign from the temple in the city Jerusalem. The above passage of scripture reveals to us ten nations that will constitute this confederacy. Each of the nations listed in this passage equate geographically, to the Islamic nations that surround Israel today. Notice that the scripture teaches us that they will form a confederacy, and that their stated aim is to cut off Israel from being a nation so that Israel may be remembered no more. Islam has the exact same stated aim, for the Qur’an is replete with verses that can be described only as virulently anti-Semitic. One of the more enlightening passages, is in their Sahih al-Bukhari Book 52, Hadith 177, where it is recorded that Allah's apostle said, "The Day of Judgment will not have come until you fight with the Jews, and the stones and the trees behind which a Jew will be hiding will say: 'O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him!"' We will examine in more detail; what scripture says about the event of the invasion of Israel in a later section.
