The two anointed ones

Zechariah 4:11-14 “Then I answered and said to him, "What are these two olive trees--at the right of the lampstand and at its left?" (12) And I further answered and said to him, "What are these two olive branches that drip into the receptacles of the two gold pipes from which the golden oil drains?" (13) Then he answered me and said, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord." (14) So, he said, "These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.”

The above passage of scripture reveals that there are two anointed ones that continually stand beside the Lord Jesus, for He is the one who is the Lord of the whole earth. These are the same two anointed ones we read about earlier, that appear in the end times to prophecy and testify of the kingdom of God (Revelation 11:4). It is these two men, Moses and Elijah that have been chosen by God to stand in these anointed callings. Both men had powerful ministries that demonstrated the gift of the working of miracles when they walked the earth. As we have already seen, the gift of the working of miracles will be very prominent in their ministries the second time around.
