And so although today we see a diminished trampling of Jerusalem by the gentiles, that number has not yet dropped to zero and therefore the fullness of the gentiles are still to come into the kingdom. But as we have already seen, the event that will see Jerusalem no longer being trampled underfoot by gentiles will take place almost overnight. When that event happens, there will be no more salvations taking place among the nations of the world. One of the fivefold ministry gifts in the church is the ministry gift of the evangelist. The primary role of the evangelist is to add lost souls to the kingdom of God. It is significant that two powerfully anointed evangelists, i.e. Billy Graham and Reinhard Bonnke, who between them have been used of the Lord to add millions to the kingdom, have both recently gone to be with the Lord. And there is no indication that our Lord has raised up evangelists of their stature in the church to replace them. The reason for that may just be because the time of the gentiles is rapidly drawing to a close. Michael E.B. Maher
