Daniel 7:2-5 “Daniel spoke, saying, "I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. (3) And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. … (5) "And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth.”
This brings us to the second nation which we will discuss i.e. Russia, because as already mentioned, the second beast in Daniel’s vision represents Russia. In the above quoted passage of scripture Daniel describes the second beast as a bear which was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth.
In a previous section we discussed the image of the bear being raised up on one side, as signifying that Russia focuses most of its military strength on its western border, and we discussed the reasons for that. And so in this section we want to discuss what the three ribs in mouth of the bear signify?
In order for us to understand what that image signifies, it is important to recognise Russia as being one of the three superpowers that are standing in the way of the globalist agenda. And so, as we have already mentioned, the globalists are actively working to bring Russia under their control.
To that end the globalists are employing several strategies; one of which is the use of “colour revolutions” to effect a regime change in that nation. In 2011 the globalists attempted to implement a colour revolution in Russia, referred to as the “Snow revolution”. That colour revolution attempt ultimately failed however[1]. And so in 2015 the globalists tried once again to initiate another colour revolution in Russia, but before it could gain any traction the Russian government recognised it for what it was and expelled the globalist NGO’s responsible[2]. And so we see that the first strategy employed against Russia has thus far proven to be unsuccessful for the globalists.
This brings us to a second strategy which the globalists are employing, which is to isolate Russia by surrounding her with hostile nations. In order for us to more clearly understand this strategy it is important to recognise that because the globalists have by and large captured the American political establishment, they are therefore able to use the USA to further their global agenda.
And to that end they have been using the USA to facilitate the eastward expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, for the sole purpose of threatening Russia. NATO was originally formed as a military alliance of North American and West European nations which opposed the military alliance of the old Soviet Bloc of nations.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the threat to the NATO aligned nations disappeared; nevertheless rather than being dissolved, the NATO alliance continued to exist and even began to expand, by including East European nations that formerly belonged to the Soviet Bloc. The continued eastward expansion of NATO posed a direct threat to Russia’s national security, which was intentional because the globalists’ strategy is to isolate and surround Russia with NATO alliance members on her borders.
Because of friendly relations with Russia however, some of the ex Soviet nations located on Russia’s borders, i.e. Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan were not easy targets for NATO recruitment. And so the globalists began to implement a series of colour revolutions in those nations in order to install governments that would be pro NATO and anti Russia.
In 2004 the USA implemented a colour revolution in Georgia, which proved to be successful in replacing the Russia friendly government with a pro NATO government. In 2014 the USA implemented a colour revolution in Ukraine, which also proved to be successful in replacing the Russia friendly government with a pro NATO government. In 2020 the USA attempted to implement a colour revolution in Belarus, but that attempt failed. In 2022 the USA attempted to implement a colour revolution in Kazakhstan, but that attempt also failed.
And so this brings us to the third strategy which the globalists are employing, which is to use the United States to conduct proxy wars against Russia with the aim of weakening Russia militarily and economically so that they can effect a regime change in that nation. To that end, the United States has already involved Russia in three proxy wars.
The first proxy war took place in 2000, when the USA covertly facilitated an attempt by the Russian province of Chechnya to succeed from Russia. Russia launched a military intervention to prevent Chechnya's secession. The war lasted 8 months. The outcome was that Chechnya remained in the Russian Federation. It was during this war that the United States first introduced economic sanctions against Russia.
The second proxy war took place in 2008, when the USA covertly facilitated an attempt by Georgia to launch an offensive to regain control of two breakaway regions that had aligned themselves with Russia two decades earlier. Russia quickly responded with a massive military intervention to stop Georgia’s invasion. The war only lasted 2 weeks and Georgia was soundly defeated. Nevertheless, during this war the United States increased its economic sanctions against Russia.
This brings us to the third proxy war which began in 2022. On this occasion NATO used Ukraine to invade the independent republics in the Donbas Region, and so Russia responded with a military intervention to stop Ukraine’s invasion. The war, which Russia is clearly winning, is still ongoing. This war is different from the previous two however; for on this occasion NATO countries implemented maximum economic sanctions against Russia designed to cripple their economy, and NATO openly declared that they are fully engaged in this proxy war against Russia. In fact the only reason the war is still ongoing is because, short of a direct military confrontation with Russia, NATO has done everything in its power to keep Ukraine fighting.
Nevertheless, despite all of the proxy wars, the Russian military has become far more powerful than it ever was, coming a close second only to the United States, and in some areas exceeding it. And in spite of all of the sanctions, the Russian economy has grown to become the 4th largest in the world today.
And so we see that the globalist strategy of weakening the Russian military and economy through the use of proxy wars has proven to be unsuccessful. So why is that? It is because God has a purpose for Russia at this time.
This brings us to the three ribs in the mouth of the bear and what they signify. There are two possibilities. Either they signify Russia’s future involvement in three separate wars simultaneously, the first being the current war in Ukraine. Or they signify Russia’s involvement in the three consecutive proxy wars discussed in this section, the last being the current war in Ukraine. Time will tell which option is the correct interpretation.
