Israel’s blindness still remains

Romans 11:25-26 “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. (26) And so, all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.” Natural Israel is not yet in that place where they, as a nation can come into the kingdom of God. But, as revealed to us by the Holy Spirit in the book of Romans quoted above, there is coming a time when all the gentiles who have been chosen by God, will have come into the kingdom. Before that time, all of natural Israel will have been brought into the land of Israel. And so, when the fullness of the gentiles have come into the kingdom, the blindness that has happened to Israel will be removed and thus natural Israel will believe the gospel and be saved. However, as we draw closer to the end of the age, there will be an increase in the number of Jewish believers. But their numbers will still be small, in relation to the full population of Israel. The reason for that is because their time has not yet come. But nevertheless, there is coming a time when there will no longer be Jews, living outside of Israel. Michael E.B. Maher
