2 Corinthians 6:16-17 “And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people." (17) Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what unclean, and I will receive you.”
In the above passage of scripture, God uses almost the identical phrase when He instructs His saints to separate themselves from the world. For in the passage when He referred to Babylon the great, He said “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins.” In the above passage, when God is admonishing His saints to live separated lives from the world, He says “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord”. Clearly, the Lord is referring to the same thing, when He speaks of the world and when He speaks of Babylon the great.
