Acts 17:24-26 “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. (25) Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. (26) And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.”
Not only does God decide when nations will be formed in the earth, He also decides what their national boundaries will be. We have already looked at the above quoted passage of scripture to confirm the truth that God forms nations, but in this passage the Holy Spirit through the apostle Paul also confirms the truth to us that God predetermines the boundaries of the nations that He forms. And so whenever a new nation is formed in the earth, the boundaries of that nation will always be dictated by God. In the same manner, when a nation’s borders change for whatever reason, you can be assured that their borders are being redrawn at God’s direction, and this truth applies to every nation on the earth. Someone will foolishly say that men decide what the borders of a nation will be and not God. What they do not realise however, is that it is God who influences men to formulate a nations boundaries in accordance with His will.
