In 1948 when Israel once again became a sovereign nation, there were a total of twenty-five Jewish believers in that nation. Since that time, the number of Jewish believers has steadily increased over the years. And today there are over two hundred small Jewish believer fellowships in the nation of Israel. And so, as we draw closer to the end of the age the number of gentile believers will begin to decline and the number of Jewish believers will begin to increase. However, although the number of Jewish believers will continue to gradually increase, their numbers relative to the size of the Israeli population will still remain very small because Israel will only be brought into the kingdom as a nation, at the end of the age. But with regards to the gentile believers, their decline in numbers will accelerate as we draw closer to the end of the age. It is no secret, that many nations that at one time had a large Christian population, have over the past few decades experienced a vast decline in their numbers, relative to the size of the populations of those nations.
