False teachers distort the gospel

The false teachers are the ones who refuse to teach sound doctrine by teaching the full counsel of God. They will only ever teach one or two main truths from God’s word, and then they will teach those truths to the extreme. For example, you will never hear them teach on judgement and the Lord’s chastening, or any other “unpopular” subjects in the New Testament. They will go to great lengths to avoid teaching the full counsel of God. Even to the point of denying that certain parts of the New Testament are for the church today. They are forced to do that, because the sections they deny expose their teachings as being false. Again, it is mainly for financial gain, i.e. covetousness that they teach only that which is popular. Two of the most prominent ministers in the church today, who refuse to teach sound doctrine by teaching the full counsel of God, have a combined following of almost nineteen million believers. One of those ministers is the pastor I mentioned earlier, who refuses to teach the church about sin, hell, and the devil. The other minister teaches the message of grace to such an extreme, that he denies the teaching our Lord Jesus gave on the subject of forgiveness for example, by stating, that Jesus was teaching the Jews on the subject and not His church. As I have already mentioned, the false teachers are forced to deny certain parts of the New Testament because it exposes their teachings as being false. I have mentioned just four prominent ministers, who between themselves have nearly twenty million followers in the church today. Now it may be that the Lord will still grant these men repentance, so that they may come to their senses and begin to teach the full counsel of God. But for now, these men are teaching a distorted and in some cases dishonest gospel. There are others also that can be mentioned, all of whom have substantial followings in the church today. Because their doctrines are not sound, those who continue to follow them run the risk of eventually falling away from following the Lord Jesus.
