Matthew 24:32-33 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. (33) So, you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near--at the doors!”
In the above passage of scripture, our Lord used the analogy of a fig tree, putting forth its leaves when summer is near, and by observing the fig tree, we know just how near summer is. And so, there are certain key events revealed to us in scripture that must take place prior to the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. In this series, I will discuss some of those key events in chronological sequence, so that it is easier for the believer, to understand the times in which we live. When our Lord Jesus returns to the earth, the church will be in one of two locations. There will be the saints who are in heaven, and there will be the saints who are on the earth. The saints that will be in heaven at that time will return with the Lord Jesus, when He descends to the earth.
